Sydney’s We Are Not Robots has returned with new music and a new line-up for 2023. Punishing new singles, “Pure Nothing” and "If You Want To Talk About It" kicked off what is promising to be a busy year for the recently retooled band which now consists of Pete Konakov (vocals & guitar), Rory Safe (bass) and Dom Lynn (drums). The band is now readying to release their newest banger, “The Darkest Nights Still Glow” on May 26th 2023, launching the same night with Sydney punks, SoSo at the Chippo Hotel.

Frenetic from start to finish, WANR gets heavier on “The Darkest Nights Still Glow” without losing any of the pop sensibilities from previous singles. It’s all about staying relentless and sounds like a perfect mashup of Biffy Clyro, Placebo and Violent Soho. Sprinkle in a bit of The Smashing Pumpkins on top and you get the idea!
